When people hear the word Nokia, they know exactly what to think. The latest release from Nokia, is the Nokia X3.

Designed to combine technology with ease of use, the new phone revolves heavily around music, and is designed to be a music lovers dream. Using a 3.2 megapixel camera, you will always be able to take photographs of your favorite moments or events without worrying about bringing your digital camera out with you.

Once taken, you can transfer the photos across to your computer or upload them directly to sites such as Facebook or MySpace depending on the website. Most phones with a music player feature an annoying headphone output which requires special headphones, and if you lose the original pair you can end up having to spend a fortune on a replacement set. The Nokia X3 features a normal size headphone output, allowing you to use your preferred set of head phones. The phone has a very sleek look and the slider form factor really combines to give it a very disarming look. The phone is a music phone and packs in a lot of features in a top – class design. The phone makes use of a 2.2 inch display which has a resolution of 240×320 pixels and is capable of displaying upto 256k colours. The phone also has music keys beside the screen which is capable of controlling the music player. The phone’s dimensions are quite good, weighing in at a fairly light 103 grams and is only 14 mm slim.

The phone’s music player supports most of the popular music formats. The internal memory of 70 MB can be expanded to 16 GB with a microSD card. A 3.5 mm headset jack enables you to use your favourite headsets with the phone. Stereo Bluetooth enables you to use your wireless stereo Bluetooth headset.

The X3 is the first S40 phone to come integrated with direct access to Nokia’s online store, the OVI store. It has a variety of games, apps, songs and videos to enhance your phone. The camera in the phone is a 3.2 megapixel one which has an LED flash and fixed focus.

The phone is set to be released in the 4th quarter of this year for about 105 pounds or on some great Nokia X3 contracts so keep your eyes open.
