In fact the already costly Aura will become a little more expensive with the introduction of the Celestial Edition. It is an exclusive handset which commemorates the fortieth anniversary of the man landing on the moon. The initial Motorola Aura Celestial Edition handset will be presented to Neil Armstrong to show love and respect to the astronaut. Original content of the moon mission from NASA like the pictures, video and audio will be preloaded in the handset from Motorola. It is preloaded with everlasting words said by Armstrong such as ‘that’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’ and ‘the eagle has landed’.
The mobile phone will also be shipped with a quote etched in laser, ‘Motorola AURA Celestial Edition, Honouring the Apollo 11 mission, 20th July 1969’ and you will also get a presentation box and 9 post stamps.
Motorola Aura Celestial Edition has all the features of the original Aura like the auto-focus 2 megapixel camera. You will also get support for USB quad-band GSM, a Bluetooth interface, Crystal Talk feature from Motorola which brings ultimate clarity and profound resonance to all your conversations, e-mail and messaging..
The Celestial Edition is expected to be available in the UK markets from July but there is no news on the coat of the phone yet. It is rumored that the consumers will have to pay a premium on the price of the present Aura which is £1200. The Celestial Edition is an extremely exclusive phone and a unit for the fashion conscious crowd.
